Last year, NAVER signed a contract with the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing (MOMRAH) to build a digital twin platform.
Since then, we have been working on this five-year project by developing concrete plans and examining each city’s condition. This has led to new ideas and a roadmap for the digital twin platform to shape future cities. On the 21st, NAVER held a contract signing ceremony in Saudi Arabia to mark the beginning of the project.
On this day, the MOMRAH, the National Housing Corporation (NHC), NAVER, NAVER LABS, and NAVER CLOUD discussed key service development plans to transform Saudi Arabian cities into future models including urban planning, monitoring, and flood simulation. The partnership will be expanded in phases to discover use cases and continuously explore opportunities for creating additional value. Together, we are dedicated to building an unprecedented model for future cities.
