Team NAVER has signed an MOU with New Murabba, Saudi Arabia’s visionary new city project, to collaborate in the fields of robotics, spatial intelligence, and smart city technologies.
Led by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia, New Murabba is a large-scale urban development project at the heart of Riyadh, covering an area of 15 km². Centered around The Mukaab (an iconic mixed-use landmark), the project will integrate retail, residential, cultural, and public infrastructure as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative.
At the core of this partnership, NAVER and New Murabba will jointly explore and deploy key enabling technologies for future cities, including robotics, spatial intelligence systems, and digital-twin–based smart city platforms. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in applying NAVER’s proven technologies and operational expertise—verified through its major testbeds such as NAVER 1784 and Data Center GAK Sejong—to global smart city development.
Following the completion of digital twin platforms across three Saudi cities and the establishment of a joint venture with the National Housing Company (NHC), this MOU further deepens NAVER’s partnership footprint in the region. NAVER will continue to advance its technological capabilities and global partnerships to further contribute to the realization of smart cities.
